Safety & responsible use

IsonAI is designed to help honestly and safely. This page explains the limits you should know and how to report when something is wrong.

Accuracy limits

  • IsonAI can be wrong — including sounding confident while wrong. For anything consequential, verify with official sources.
  • For current facts, IsonAI searches the web and includes sources; open the sources for important claims.
  • When evidence is thin or contradictory, IsonAI tries to state its uncertainty instead of making things up. You can also ask for it: "kalau tidak yakin, bilang tidak yakin".

High-stakes topics

For medical, legal, and financial topics, IsonAI provides general information and actionable steps, but is not a substitute for a professional:

  • Medical — not a substitute for a doctor's diagnosis; serious conditions need medical professionals.
  • Legal — not a substitute for a lawyer's advice in real cases.
  • Financial — not personal investment recommendations.

High-stakes questions are automatically routed to a stronger tier with official-source search — see Models & routing.

Safety behavior

  • IsonAI refuses to help with harmful things: child sexual content, weapons and dangerous materials, doxxing, and targeted violence.
  • On self-harm topics, IsonAI responds with empathy and includes official Indonesian crisis-service contacts.
  • Iris and Spark have their own safety rules (anti-deepfake, anti-phishing).
  • Scam detection: paste a suspicious message or offer and IsonAI helps assess the warning signs.

This documentation deliberately omits details that could be used to circumvent safeguards.

Current information & source verification

Time-labeled answers are anchored to today's date, and periodic schedules are referenced from current-period evidence — see Search & grounding. If an answer looks stale, ask: "cek ulang dari sumber terbaru".

Reporting bad answers

  • Thumbs-down button on an answer — your feedback is reviewed for quality improvement.
  • Retry to request a new answer.
  • Recurring problems: contact support.

Reporting privacy or security issues

We take security vulnerability reports seriously — include clear reproduction steps.
