Folders & projects
Folders group conversations and also separate their memory — similar to the "Projects" feature in other assistants. Contexts from different work do not mix.
How to create and use folders
- Open the Folders section in the sidebar, then choose the manager icon beside it to create and name a folder, for example "Thesis" or "Online Store". The same manager can rename, color, or archive a folder.
- Open a conversation's More menu to move it into a folder. You can also create a new conversation while a folder is selected.
- The Folders section can be expanded or collapsed. The active folder name remains visible, and the All view shows conversations from every folder.
How per-folder memory works
- Cross-conversation memory formed inside a folder is only reused inside that folder.
- Conversations outside folders use your account's general memory.
- Basic profile facts (such as your preferred name and language) still apply everywhere.
Example: in a "Skripsi" folder, IsonAI remembers your research topic and the chapter you are working on without carrying that context into everyday shopping conversations outside the folder.
When to use folders
- Ongoing projects with many conversations (final thesis, client work, business plans).
- Separating personal and work contexts.
- Archiving conversations on the same topic so they are easy to find again.
Limits
- Folders do not yet support permanent per-folder knowledge file uploads; attach documents to the conversations that need them.
- Full folder management is available on the web. On devices that do not yet show folder controls, use IsonAI through the browser.
