Release notes

This page records IsonAI product changes that affect users, newest first. Statuses used: Available, Alpha/Beta, Rollout, or Retired. Internal changes that do not alter user-facing behavior are not listed here.

2026-09-01 — Extra Deep and Core on Omni/PRME

  • Platform: Web.
  • Status: Available on Pro.
  • The Thinking picker now offers Fast, Auto, Deep, Extra Deep, and Core.
  • Extra Deep tests conclusions, decisive figures, alternative interpretations, and potentially disconfirming evidence with a higher source bar.
  • Core runs a multi-stage workflow on the selected Omni or PRME model: mapping the answer contract, gathering evidence, producing several analyses, auditing, repairing, and releasing one final answer.
  • PRME with Core is IsonAI's strongest chat profile. Core is limited to 5 uses per day on Pro and never silently switches models.
  • Limits: Core cannot currently be combined with Deep Research, image generation/editing, document editing, or image attachments.

2026-08-31 — Cross-turn image references

  • Platform: Chat.
  • Status: Available.
  • Follow-up questions can now refer to an image uploaded or created earlier in the same conversation; IsonAI reloads that image's visual context when relevant.
  • If several images could match or the image is no longer available, IsonAI asks you to choose or reattach it instead of guessing.

2026-08-29 — Three explicit tiers, Omni by default

  • Platform: Web and iOS.
  • Status: Available.
  • The model picker now presents three explicit tiers: Omni, LYT, and PRME. Every new conversation starts on Omni; Adaptive was removed from the interface.
  • A selected tier is not silently replaced during an outage. Automatic fallback to LYT remains only for an exhausted smart-model token quota.

2026-08-23 — Indonesian Affairs Packs in Naya

  • Platform: Web.
  • Status: Available.
  • Naya adds six workflows: SME/tax, jobs/scholarships, KUA/marriage, BPJS/civil registry, vehicles/property, and regulation monitoring.
  • Every run reopens official sources, records timestamps and hashes, and blocks guidance when primary or current evidence is insufficient.
  • Time-sensitive output is valid for 3–24 hours. Output and PDF export lock after expiry until the user reverifies.
  • Limitation: verification proves the state of accessible official sources at the recorded time; it cannot detect a government change that has not been published.

2026-08-22 — Naya Background Tasks, Google actions, and read-only MCP

  • Platform: Web.
  • Status: Available.
  • Naya can run one-off/daily/weekly missions after the browser closes, keep run history, and send completion or change notifications.
  • After Google connection and per-action approval, Naya can execute supported Calendar, Gmail, and Drive actions. Exact previews, approval expiry, deduplication, and uncertain-send handling are enabled by default.
  • Pro/admin users can opt into reviewed read-only MCP connectors from Settings; the initial catalog contains Ison Search Indonesia. Arbitrary URLs and write tools are not open.
  • Limits: every run uses the daily mission quota; Free keeps 1 schedule and Pro 10. Actions outside the allowlist remain manual.

2026-07-18 — Multi-format Slate Notebook, Studio, and Library

  • Platform: Web (slate.isonai.net).
  • Status: Available.
  • Slate Notebook expanded from PDF into a multi-format workspace for documents, web URLs, transcript-backed YouTube videos, audio, and images, with openable citations and per-question source selection.
  • Studio creates source-grounded summaries, mind maps, slide decks, infographics, data tables, flashcards, FAQs, quizzes, study guides, timelines, and suggested questions.
  • Library brings reports and Notebooks together; Notes and revocable public read-only links let users share without exposing private chats or original source files.
  • Limits: direct viewer/editor invitations and Audio Overviews are not available.

2026-07-17 — Official documentation at docs.isonai.com

  • Platform: Web (documentation site).
  • Status: Available.
  • The official IsonAI documentation launched in Bahasa Indonesia and English, including machine-readable surfaces (llms.txt, llms-full.txt, a manifest, and per-page Markdown mirrors).

2026-07-17 — Adaptive Thinking with a live narrative

  • Platform: Web.
  • Status: Available.
  • The Thinking modes Fast/Auto/Deep apply effort as an adaptive ceiling with a first-answer deadline; when Thinking is used, a public thinking narrative streams live while the answer is composed and remains available collapsed afterwards.
  • Limits: the LYT tier always behaves as Fast; the Thinking picker is hidden while LYT is explicitly selected.

2026-07-10 — Naya

  • Platform: Web.
  • Status: Available.
  • Naya launched: a mission operator that turns goals into plans, research, and ready-to-use documents, with a Mission Room, Evidence Ledger, approval gates, and PDF export.
  • Limits: daily quota per plan (Free 3 missions/day, Pro 8).

2026-06-30 — Memory page with a profile summary

  • Platform: Web.
  • Status: Available.
  • isonai.net/memory shows a narrative profile summary above the fact list, with add/edit/delete facts, summary regeneration, and delete-all.

2026-06-19 — Folders with memory separation

  • Platform: Web.
  • Status: Available.
  • Folders group conversations and separate cross-conversation recall per folder, so different project contexts do not bleed into each other.

2026-06-18 — Deep Research in chat

  • Platform: Web.
  • Status: Available.
  • Deep Research arrived as an explicit research mode: multi-round investigation across many web sources with a full report and a Sources panel.
  • Limits: activates only on explicit request; daily quota per plan.

2026-06-11 — Doc Edit (PDF editing)

  • Platform: Web.
  • Status: Available.
  • Doc Edit: fill forms, replace text (including scanned PDFs via OCR), insert photos, and add signatures on attached PDFs, straight from chat.

2026-06-04 — Ison Search public

  • Platform: Web (search.isonai.com).
  • Status: Alpha.
  • Ison Search opened to the public: a curated Indonesian search engine with credibility tiering and tracking-free privacy.
