Bila konsol browser menunjukkan `QuotaExceededError`, ikuti bagian penyimpanan di bawah. ### `QuotaExceededError` / penyimpanan browser penuh Kesalahan ini berarti local/session storage browser untuk isonai.net penuh sehingga aplikasi gagal menyimpan preferensi atau draf. 1. Muat ulang paksa dahulu — sering cukup. 2. Bila berulang, hapus **data situs untuk isonai.net saja** (bukan seluruh browser): pengaturan situs → hapus data. Every conversation is saved automatically to your account and can be reopened from history. - **Conversation titles** are generated automatically from the message content; conversations can be found via the search box in the sidebar. - **Folders** group conversations and also separate their memory per project — see [Folders & projects](/en/projects/). - **Deleting a conversation** removes it from history and from cross-conversation context recall. ## Follow-up questions IsonAI understands references to earlier messages in the same conversation — "the one from before", "the second option", "continue that section" — so you don't need to repeat context. In very long conversations, IsonAI can still recall relevant earlier parts of the conversation when needed. After an answer finishes, IsonAI often offers clickable follow-up questions to go deeper into the topic. ## Stopping, retrying, and resuming - **Stop** — while an answer is being written, the send button becomes a stop button. - **Retry** — requests a new answer for the last message; the old answer is replaced by the new result. - **Automatic recovery** — if the connection drops or the tab closes mid-answer, the answer is still completed on the server and saved. Reload the conversation to see the full result. Briefly switching apps on your phone does not cancel the answer. ## Sharing and export - **Share links** — from a conversation's share menu, choose "Create Share Link" to create a public link anyone can open without an account. The link can be revoked from the same menu. - **Markdown export** — the ".md" button in the share menu downloads the entire conversation as a Markdown file. - **File downloads** — results from [document editing](/en/documents/) are downloaded from the download card in the conversation. The PDF attachment chip in the conversation can be clicked to open a view of the document. ## Pasted text Long text pasted into the message box is tidied into its own paste block so the conversation stays compact. If you paste material without instructions, IsonAI asks what you want to do instead of guessing — pasting code is not automatically treated as a request to fix it. ## Behavior to know - Analysis of material you attach is done from the material itself; IsonAI does not automatically search the web just because there is an attachment. The **"All"** view still shows every conversation from all folders. ## How per-folder memory works - Cross-conversation memory formed inside a folder is only reused **inside that folder**. - Conversations outside folders use your account's general memory. - Basic profile facts (such as your preferred name and language) still apply everywhere. You can let IsonAI choose automatically (Adaptive) or lock a specific tier from the model picker in the chat top bar. Terms used in these docs: **tier/model** is the engine that answers (Omni, LYT, PRME); **mode** is a behavior setting on top of it (Adaptive for tier selection, [Thinking](/en/thinking/) for reasoning depth). ## Adaptive (default) Adaptive automatically picks the most suitable tier for each question — fast for simple things, deeper for complex ones. Most users can just use Adaptive and never think about model choice. Weighty or high-stakes topics — legal, financial, medical, tax, scam detection, in-depth comparisons, and coding — are automatically routed to a stronger tier. ## IsonAI Omni The main tier for complex tasks: layered analysis, long reasoning, thorough comparisons, structured writing, and [agentic behavior](/en/tools/) such as search-read-conclude across sources. Omni is also the engine behind [Naya](/en/naya/) and [Deep Research](/en/deep-research/). ## IsonAI LYT The lightweight tier that prioritizes speed — for casual conversation, greetings, and simple everyday questions. LYT **does not use the daily quota**, so it stays available when the smart-model quota runs out. Its capabilities are more limited: web search is more concise and there is no deep reasoning. On LYT, [Thinking](/en/thinking/) always behaves as **Fast**. ## PRME The coding-specialist tier — strong at writing and analyzing code, mathematics, and structured technical analysis. PRME is **only active when selected explicitly**; Adaptive never routes questions to PRME on its own. PRME is also the engine behind [IsonForge](/en/isonforge/). ## Explicit selection Your choice in the model picker is **always respected**. If you lock Omni, every question is answered by Omni; the same goes for LYT and PRME. The only exceptions occur when quota runs out or a tier is temporarily unavailable (see below), and the change is always visible — never a silent substitution. ## Fallback and degradation - **Quota exhausted** — when the daily smart-model quota runs out, answers automatically continue on LYT until the quota renews, with a notice in the interface. Its picker sits next to the model picker: **Fast**, **Auto**, and **Deep**. ## Fast, Auto, Deep - **Fast** minimizes latency and answers directly, without a separate thinking stage. - **Auto** (the default) adjusts thinking effort dynamically based on the question's complexity, risk, and calculation needs. Simple questions are answered directly; layered questions get thought through first. - **Deep** provides a **high capability ceiling** — not a target to be spent. Questions that are already solved are not stretched out just to use up the thinking budget; what gets cut is overthinking, not quality. ## Effort as an adaptive ceiling, not a target The effort level sets the ceiling, and IsonAI stops early once the problem is solved. Some behaviors that follow from this: - On questions that require search, IsonAI assesses evidence sufficiency (relevance, source diversity, aspect coverage). If the initial evidence is already adequate, the answer is synthesized directly from that evidence without extra planning rounds. - Closed-form math and analysis of material you attach do not run useless tool steps. - Coding, connector use, research, fast-changing facts, and high-stakes topics keep the full tool loop. - Thin or irrelevant search results still trigger further searching — economy never comes at the cost of evidence. Each effort level also has a **first-answer deadline**. If the model is still in hidden thinking when the deadline hits, IsonAI recomposes the answer without a thinking stage — using the same context, relevant memory, and search results — so you never wait too long. ## The visible Thinking narrative When Thinking is in use, the interface shows a **public thinking narrative** that streams phrase by phrase while the answer is composed: numbers and intermediate results in calculations, considerations and obstacles in analysis, or the failure mechanism being tested in debugging. The narrative's language follows the language of your question. Important to understand: this narrative is a **separately produced public explanation**, not raw chain-of-thought (the model's raw internal thinking). There are four distinct layers: 1. **The model's internal thinking** — never shown. 2. **The public Thinking narrative** — the safe explanation you see streaming. 3. **The final answer** — the referenced result. 4. **Tool/search progress** — status lines while IsonAI searches or opens sources. The narrative may use your conversation history and [memory](/en/memory/) when directly relevant, and assumptions are always **clearly labeled as assumptions**. System prompts, credentials, other users' data, and internal tool payloads are never part of the narrative. If a useful, safe narrative cannot be composed, the panel is simply not shown — not replaced with generic text. After the answer finishes, the narrative is reconciled with the final answer, stored with the conversation, and the Thinking panel remains available in a **collapsed** state — click to open it again, including when the conversation is reopened. ## Thinking on LYT The [LYT](/en/models/) tier always behaves as **Fast**, whatever the state of its physical backend — Auto and Deep are not available on LYT. When LYT is explicitly selected, the Thinking picker is hidden. ## Thinking Deep vs Deep Research They are different: - **Thinking Deep** sets the reasoning effort for **a single answer** in a normal conversation. - **[Deep Research](/en/deep-research/)** is a separate research flow that investigates many web sources and produces a full report with references. For Indonesian topics, IsonAI refers to the [Ison Search](/en/ison-search/) index, which prioritizes authoritative local sources. ## Ison Search as the foundation [Ison Search](/en/ison-search/) — the curated Indonesian search engine — is the primary grounding source for Indonesian topics, combined with global web search. The result: answers about regulations, public services, and local topics reference the right Indonesian sources, not translations from a foreign context. ## Reading URLs you paste Paste a URL and ask something about it — "ringkas artikel ini", "cek klaim di halaman ini" — and IsonAI **opens that page** and answers from its contents. Page content is treated as data to analyze, not as commands. ## Structured data - **Stock prices** — IDX as well as global, from current market data. - **Currency exchange rates** and calculations derived from them. - **Local places & businesses** — place recommendations use curated Indonesian places data. - **Indonesian calendar** — national holidays, Hijri dates, and local calendar context. ## Academic search in chat Requests like "carikan jurnal tentang stunting di Indonesia" run an academic search across many scholarly sources and produce a table of real, verified articles — complete with journal-quality and open-access markers. If the evidence remains inadequate, IsonAI states its limitations instead of making things up. ## Consent boundaries (authority) - **Google connectors** only activate after you grant permission through the official Google sign-in flow, and can be disconnected at any time from Settings. - IsonAI **does not take official outbound actions** on your behalf — it does not send emails, pay, sign, or submit anything. It prepares the drafts and the steps; you execute them. - In [Naya](/en/naya/), plans with real-world impact stop at an **approval gate** for you to review first. ## Privacy protections in tool use Personalized tool use is protected by the following principles, enforced server-side: - Personal data from your [memory](/en/memory/) and history is **never sent out** through search queries or requests to external sites. Only what you write in the current message becomes search material. - Web content and document contents are treated as **data to analyze** — instructions embedded in web pages or files are not followed as commands. - Links that appear in answers are restricted to sources that were actually used and come from legitimate places. On disconnect, IsonAI **revokes the token with Google** and **deletes the stored credentials** from IsonAI's systems. The capabilities IsonAI actually executes are the ones listed in this table. ## Data flow — what is sent where - When your question needs Google context, IsonAI calls Google's APIs on your behalf and receives the relevant slices of data (event lists, email snippets, file lists). - That data is used **at that moment** to compose the answer — IsonAI does not copy your Calendar/Gmail/Drive contents into separate storage. - **However**: connector information that appears inside an answer is saved as part of the conversation, like any other message content, and is subject to the same [privacy policy](/en/privacy/). - Toward Google, standard API requests with your token are sent — including search terms derived from your request (for example the file name in "find proposal.docx in my drive"). Beyond that, the contents of your conversations are not sent to Google. ## Token storage After you approve, Google issues access tokens that are stored on IsonAI's servers (EPITHRE. infrastructure in Indonesia) so the connection does not have to be repeated every time. Tokens are deleted when you disconnect or delete your account, and are revoked with Google on disconnect. ## Consent boundaries - Connection only happens through the official Google sign-in flow that you approve yourself. - IsonAI does not read connected services "quietly" for background personalization — data is fetched when your question needs it. - No outward actions (send/change/delete) are performed on your behalf while write capabilities remain inactive. ## Other connectors Third-party connectors beyond Google (e.g. generic MCP-based connector schemes) are **not yet available** in public IsonAI. Without instructions, IsonAI asks what you want to do. What is **not** stored as memory by default: dated one-off events (such as "besok saya rapat jam 3"), and [incognito](#incognito) conversations. When a fact changes — a new job, a new city — the memory is updated, not duplicated; the old fact is marked as historical. ## Viewing and managing memory Open [isonai.net/memory](https://isonai.net/memory): - **Profile summary** — a short narrative composed from what is remembered. - **Fact list**, item by item — add new notes, edit, or delete specific facts. - **Regenerate the summary** at any time. - **Delete all memory** at once. Memory can also be **turned off entirely** from Settings (Memory section) in chat. ## Incognito The incognito icon in the top bar starts a conversation that **leaves no personalization trace**: it does not appear in history, is not used for cross-conversation recall, does not update memory, and is not used for personalization. It applies per conversation — the next chat is back to normal. Display settings such as language and theme still apply. What you should understand plainly: **"does not appear in history" is not the same as "not stored"**. - Incognito conversations are still processed and **stored server-side with an incognito flag**, subject to the same account and service retention policy — Incognito is not automatic deletion, and it is not an ephemeral mode. - Incognito is also **not an automatic exclusion** from the use of content to improve the service; the governing terms are the [Privacy Policy](https://www.isonai.net/privacy), and opting out goes through the official channel ([privacy@isonai.net](mailto:privacy@isonai.net)). - Because they do not appear in history, incognito conversations **cannot be deleted individually** from the interface. Deleting your account deletes all your data, including incognito conversations; for other deletion requests, contact [privacy@isonai.net](mailto:privacy@isonai.net). Use Incognito when you do not want a conversation to influence personalization or show up in history — not as an assurance that data is not stored. ## Folders separate memory Cross-conversation memory from a [folder](/en/projects/) is only used inside that folder — different project contexts never leak into each other. ## How memory is used in answers - Memory is used only when **directly relevant** to the question. Unrelated habits or sensitive data are not dragged into answers. - Your memory and history are **never sent out** through search queries or requests to external sites — see [Tools & agentic behavior](/en/tools/). - Requests to dump sensitive data in bulk that is unrelated to the topic are refused for your own protection; conversations that are genuinely about a sensitive topic are still served normally. ## Isolation between users Memory is per account. A few **limited exceptions** to the 30-day removal apply, as set out in the canonical policy: - **Security audit logs** — action metadata (action type, IP address, user agent) may be retained for up to **365 days** for security and forensic purposes. Google/Apple accounts have no IsonAI password — sign in via their buttons. ### Shown as Guest even though you are signed in If `/chat` suddenly shows you as a guest: 1. Reload the page once (F5). The session is sometimes not read on the first load. 2. Make sure you are not in a **browser** private/incognito window — sessions are not shared with normal windows. 3. Make sure cookies for isonai.net are not blocked (browser privacy settings or blocker extensions). 4. If you are still a guest, sign in again from the login page. Your history and memory are safe in your account — guest status only means the browser session ended or was cleared, not that your data is gone. ### The send button does not work 1. Check whether an answer is still running (the button turns into Stop) — stop it first or wait for it to finish. 2. Force-reload (see the hard-refresh steps below) — the most common cause is an old cached app version. 3. Try a new tab; if the new tab works, close the old one. 4. If the browser console shows `QuotaExceededError`, follow the storage section below. ### `QuotaExceededError` / browser storage full This error means the browser's local/session storage for isonai.net is full, so the app cannot save preferences or drafts. 1. Force-reload first — that is often enough. 2. If it recurs, clear **site data for isonai.net only** (not the whole browser): site settings → clear data. Read the consequences below before doing so. 3. Browser private mode has a smaller storage quota; use a normal window for longer sessions. ### The interface looks stale / model or Thinking picker out of sync If the interface shows a model or Thinking mode that does not match what you selected, or looks outdated after an update: 1. **Hard refresh**: Windows/Linux `Ctrl+Shift+R`, macOS `Cmd+Shift+R` (Safari: `Cmd+Option+R`). 2. If it still looks off, close **all** isonai.net tabs and open them again — the web app updates itself on the next load. 3. Re-select the model/Thinking mode from its picker; the choice is stored per interface session. ### Thinking does not stream or the panel does not appear Some conditions are **normal**, not a fault: - **Fast** mode and the **LYT** tier do not show a Thinking panel by design. - Simple questions on **Auto** are answered directly without a thinking stage. - If a useful, safe narrative cannot be produced, the panel is deliberately omitted. If the panel never appears in any conversation where it should, hard-refresh; also check the [service status](https://status.isonai.net). ### Answers stop mid-way / tab closed Answers are still completed on the server even if the tab closes or the connection drops — **reload the conversation** to see the full result. Briefly switching apps on mobile does not cancel an answer either. If the answer isn't satisfying, use **retry**. ### When it is safe to clear site data — and what it costs Clearing isonai.net site data is safe at any time to recover from storage/cache problems, with these consequences: - You are **signed out** and need to sign in again. - Local preferences (theme, interface language, last model choice) reset to defaults. - **Conversation history, memory, and account data are NOT lost** — they live on the server under your account and return after you sign in. ### Quota runs out quickly See [Plans & quota](/en/plans/): long conversations consume more tokens per message; light chat is cheaper via LYT. Today's usage is in Settings. ### Model answers feel lighter than usual Your smart-model quota has likely run out and answers are being served by LYT (there is a notice) — it recovers when the quota renews at midnight UTC. ### Uploads fail - Check the size limits: 25 MB per document (20 MB for PDF editing), 50 MB per PDF in the Slate Notebook. - The format must be on the [supported list](/en/attachments/). - Large scanned documents need more OCR time — allow some time before retrying. ### PRME shows an error [PRME](/en/models/) is an explicit tier: when its engine is unavailable, it shows a clear error instead of silently switching tiers. Try again later, or use Adaptive/Omni in the meantime. ### iOS app not syncing Make sure you are signed in with the same account; pull to refresh the conversation list.
