# What is IsonAI

IsonAI is an AI assistant built by **EPITHRE.**, an AI lab from Indonesia, designed specifically for Indonesian users. IsonAI answers everyday questions, helps with work and research, writes and analyzes code, understands images and documents, generates images, and finds current information on the web — in natural Bahasa Indonesia, casual or formal.

IsonAI is available on the web at [isonai.net](https://isonai.net) and as an official iOS app on the App Store. Android users can use IsonAI fully through the browser.

## Who IsonAI is for

IsonAI is aimed at the general Indonesian public: students, office workers, small business (UMKM) owners, developers, and anyone who needs an assistant that understands the Indonesian context — regulations (UU/PP), national holidays, bureaucratic documents, and the nuances of the local language, including everyday slang.

IsonAI is EPITHRE.'s main consumer product. The Ison product family complements each other within one ecosystem:

On the business side, EPITHRE. offers a [B2B API platform](/en/epithre/) and is developing Strata, a specialist government model (not yet available).

## Language and platforms

- **Language**: Bahasa Indonesia comes first (including casual style), English is fully supported. You can also mix both in a single message.
- **Platforms**: web (all modern browsers, desktop and mobile), iOS app on the App Store. An Android app is not yet available.

## Limits you should know

- IsonAI can be wrong. For important decisions — medical, legal, financial — treat answers as a starting point and verify with official sources or professionals. See [Safety & responsible use](/en/safety/).
- Fast-changing facts (news, prices, new regulations) are answered with [web search](/en/search/); without search, the model's knowledge has a time cutoff.
- Voice conversation mode and video generation are not yet available.
