# Image generation (Iris)

**Iris** is the AI image generation and editing capability inside IsonAI chat. Describe the image you want, and IsonAI recognizes the intent and creates it.

## Generating images from text

Write your request right in chat:

- "Buatkan gambar warung kopi tepi sawah saat matahari terbenam, gaya cat air."
- "Logo minimalis untuk merek kue kering bernama Legit."
- "Poster promosi diskon 17 Agustus, nuansa merah putih retro."

Various aspect ratios are supported — mention one when needed ("format potret untuk story Instagram").

## Editing existing images

Upload an image and give editing instructions:

- "Ganti warna jaketnya jadi merah."
- "Tambahkan kacamata hitam."
- "Ubah latarnya jadi senja di pantai."

Multiple reference images can be combined into a single composition.

## Gallery

Results are saved in the conversation history and in the **gallery** ([isonai.net/gallery](https://isonai.net/gallery)) — to review, download, regenerate, or delete.

## Iris vs Spark

- **Iris** produces **images** (bitmaps) — photos, illustrations, visual artwork.
- **[Spark](/en/spark/)** produces **HTML/CSS code-based visuals** — posters, cards, pages, and interactive content that can be exported to PNG/PDF.

For ambiguous requests — for example "buatkan buku cerita bergambar" — IsonAI asks which format you want instead of guessing.

## Safety rules

Iris refuses to create harmful content: sexual content involving children, deepfakes of real people without consent, and material designed to deceive or cause harm. Legitimate creative requests — illustrations, designs, product concepts — are served as usual.

## Limits

- Long text inside images (such as paragraphs on a poster) can lack precision — for text-heavy posters, [Spark](/en/spark/) is often the better fit.
- Very fine details (fingers, small lettering) are a common limitation of image models; iterate with follow-up instructions.
- Video generation is not yet available.
